Successfully represented a leading international transportation company by lobbying before the federal government to amend trade and customs legislation setting an important precedent in the industry.

Worked for an auto parts company, supplier to leading companies in the automotive industry, on a special authorization from the Tax Administration Service to rectify pediments that were processed incorrectly. We successfully negotiated with the assembling companies an important payment of over $200 million pesos. Additionally, we supported in the inventory contol to assure compliance with the legal requirments.

Successfully supported an American pharmaceutical company, a manufacturing and distribution of medical supplies leader, by solving an international trade audit with a contingency higher than $360 million pesos and obtaining the customs compliance.
 

Advised an important and innovative international packaging company in their restructure and spin-off of some of their activities in Mexico, successfully obtaining all the authorizations, permits and benefits for the two resulting companies that emerged from the transaction without interrupting operations.

Supported a transnational company, based in Germany, in an antidumping investigation in Mexico. We obtained the exclusion of our client’s products from that investigation.

Supported an american food company and another mattresses company in their NAFTA audits so their products could obtain preferential duty treatment contemplated by the treaty.
